Her legal work has resulted in multimillion-dollar settlements and successful trial outcomes, especially in cases involving serious injury, insurance denial, and life-changing loss. But it’s her approach—measured, meticulous, and personal—that clients remember most.
Paula earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia, completing a double major in Sociology and Latin American Studies. After a brief career with Air Canada as a flight attendant, she went on to complete her law degree at the University of Windsor. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2004 and spent her early years under the mentorship of an unflinching and utterly relentless litigator. It was the kind of foundation that sharpened her instincts and hardened her for a trial-focused practice.
Fluent in Spanish and committed to accessible advocacy, Paula offers mobile consultations and a clear, respectful process for every client she represents. Whether she’s negotiating behind the scenes or standing before a judge and jury, she’s deeply invested in protecting not just legal rights, but lives, families, and futures.
Paula is also a director of a non-profit animal rescue organization that has helped save thousands of animals. She’s passionate about the cause—and completely devoted to her own beloved rescue dogs. Outside of the office, she spends as much time as she can exploring the world alongside her husband, family, and close friends.

Joanna Elliott is a detail-oriented solicitor who provides practical, thoughtful legal advice to individuals, families, and business owners. She focuses on helping clients navigate key transitions—whether planning an estate, managing a probate matter, or building and protecting a business.
In her wills and estates practice, Joanna prepares wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements, and assists with probate, inheritance disputes, and estate-related applications. Her approach is clear, compassionate, and grounded in sound legal planning.
In business law, she advises on incorporations, shareholder agreements, contract negotiations, and succession planning. She also helps restore dissolved companies and supports clients through purchases, sales, and day-to-day operational matters.
Joanna holds a BBA from Canada and a law degree from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022 and is fluent in English and Polish. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC.
While earning her law degree in the U.K., Joanna volunteered for three years with Norfolk Community Law Services, providing legal advocacy to individuals facing poverty and barriers to public support. She continued this work at home in Canada through the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program.
Outside of the office, Joanna enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, traveling with her husband and three kids, and diving into hobbies like hiking, yoga, painting, and the occasional DIY project.

Lexi and Lori form the core of the firm’s administrative team—bringing warmth, reliability, and a client-first mindset to everything they do.
Lexi is known for her work ethic, attention to detail, and the critical support she provides to Paula and Joanna behind the scenes. She’s organized, responsive, and deeply committed to keeping the office running efficiently. She holds a BA with a major in Criminology and is currently in the process of attaining her paralegal certificate.
Lori brings a calm, approachable energy to the team. A true people person, she has a gift for putting clients at ease and helping them feel supported throughout the legal process. She holds a Legal Assistant Diploma and brings over 15 years of experience to her role.
